Our Story
The Hatch story started when good friends Adam Jacobs (Ex THE ICONIC Founder) and Chaz Heitner (Ex Zip Co-founder) came together to build something they were deeply passionate about.
Both founders believe that traditional hiring processes are broken and limit people from finding work that’s a good fit for them. Since founding the company, Adam and Chaz have built a team that shares their mission and are both confident they will continue to build an impactful global company for many years to come.

We’re working to build a culture where you’re embraced for who you are. We want you to be empowered to use your voice to help others find theirs. Our DE&I networks are an integral part of our people culture and help to foster belonging and connection for our People.
EY networks, communities, and inclusion initiatives include:
- The Gender Network: for women, men and non-binary people who are passionate about advancing equality and inclusion.
- Unity: aims to create a sustainable, inclusive culture where LGBT+ individuals at EY can bring their whole selves to work.
- Cultural Diversity at EY: CD@EY aims to empower the EY community to build a better working world through cultural diversity at work, with clients, the marketplace and the wider community.
- Ability Network: seeks to elevate disability inclusion and ensure accessibility in the EY workplace to recognise the contribution that all our people can bring to the world. It has three community groups, including our Neurodivergent Community, our Parents and Carers community and our Chronic Health and Invisible Disabilities community.
