Our Story
The Hatch story started when good friends Adam Jacobs (Ex THE ICONIC Founder) and Chaz Heitner (Ex Zip Co-founder) came together to build something they were deeply passionate about.
Both founders believe that traditional hiring processes are broken and limit people from finding work that’s a good fit for them. Since founding the company, Adam and Chaz have built a team that shares their mission and are both confident they will continue to build an impactful global company for many years to come.

Community
Seven has partnered with The Careers Department, a leading educational tech company, to provide career education resources and help prepare students for roles in growth industries. The partnership will see Seven support The Careers Department’s 2022/2023 National Schools’ Tour and face-to-face workshops in over 100 metropolitan, regional and remote schools, with 7NEWS and Sunrise reporters creating video content to give students a behind-the-scenes look at life working in the television industry.
Development + Growth Ops
The Seven Network has recently kicked off a new Broadcast Technician and Operations Trainee program to recruit and train new and diverse talent in a range of roles. The program will offer six successful candidates two-year paid contracts which will combine formal TAFE study with mentoring and hands-on training by some of the best broadcast and technical professionals in the industry.We’re working to build a culture where you’re embraced for who you are. We want you to be empowered to use your voice to help others find theirs. Our DE&I networks are an integral part of our people culture and help to foster belonging and connection for our People.
